Several lamps are stacked in tiers, and some trays are unlit. A figure in a red and gold patterned garment stands at the upper right edge of the frame. Foreground brass oil lamps on tall stands, some with peacock-shaped tops, are lit with flames. Behind them, rows of small oil lamps line a red tiered platform, and a string of multicoloured lights hangs in the dark. Several people in white clothing sit on the ground, and a few figures in saffron/orange robes stand nearby. A colourful rangoli design is visible on the floor.2015-11-25
