Photograph of an outdoor ritual under a large white corrugated-roof canopy with bright blue sky above. A tall, slender orange-and-gold pole, wrapped in bands and topped with a small finial, rises through the center. Several people in saffron-orange dhotis and sashes stand around its base, one in orange with a bare upper body holding the pole, others steadying it and a figure in orange lifting a red-and-yellow parasol. Crowd members in the background watch from beneath the canopy, and a decorated palanquin-like structure with a yellow canopy sits in the distance among palm trees.
