A man with a shaved, sweeping hairstyle wearing a bare-chested orange-red wrap and a marigold garland places his right hand on the forehead of a bald, seated devotee in a beige shirt with an orange shawl, who has his palms pressed together. Behind them stands a silver staff, and a golden lion-headed throne armrest is in the foreground. A woman in white with an orange shawl stands at the back, and a woman in white with an orange shawl and mala sits behind the devotee; another woman in pink with an orange shawl is at the right edge. The scene suggests a padapuja or personal blessing ritual. Four people are visible.2014-05-14
