Water streams down over the lingam from above. Four women in wet white, pink and green saris and a woman in an orange top stand in a pool at the base, facing the lingam. Red and white striped pool edging and a metal staircase frame the scene, with unfinished concrete buildings behind.2010-10-17A large black polished stone Shiva lingam with a yoni-shaped base stands on a water pool, its base edged with a striped red and white platform. Several men perform worship at its base: two in saffron-orange robes stand near the lingam, one lighting or offering a flame with a small brass lamp, while others in white dhoti and yellow-trimmed white shawls stand nearby. Brass and small offering items sit on the platform, including a small kalasha-like vessel and a flower arrangement. Behind, a multistorey concrete building is under construction with exposed bamboo scaffolding and blue tarpaulin sheeting. Several people stand on the far right. Men in orange are priests or sannyasis; no candidate is clearly identifiable as a person.2009-09-29Outdoor photo of a large black stone Shivling standing on a square pedestal in a reflecting pool, with water flowing down its sides and a multicoloured garland draped over it. Tiered red stone steps and a terraced amphitheatre rise behind the pool, with many rows of seated people in orange and white. A few people in white clothes stand near the steps and railings at left. A red multi-storey building with many windows and a partially built structure on its roof stands in the background, under a pale sky with trees.2013-11-18June 10 20132013-06-10Photo 11735814October 17 20102010-10-17
