Beneath it, a large street billboard shows a saffron-robed figure with a shaved head and a smaller portrait inset, with Kannada script beside. A yellow-and-black auto-rickshaw and several cars, buses and motorcycles fill the road, and a few pedestrians walk across the crossing. A small decorated gate stands at the corner near parked scooters.

A busy urban street corner in Bengaluru, India, photographed in daylight. On the left, a large billboard on a multi-storey building shows a portrait of a saffron-robed man with a tall orange head-cloth, beside smaller portraits and a Kannada-language message. Motorcycle riders and two black-and-yellow auto-rickshaws move through the junction, and a few pedestrians walk along the pavement. A yellow ornamental gateway stands in the road, and traffic signals hang above. The man on the billboard is a printed portrait, not a physical person in the scene; the visible riders and pedestrians are the only physical people.2003-01-01January 01 20032003-01-01January 01 20032003-01-01November 05 20062006-11-05September 23 20062006-09-23May 09 20122012-05-09January 11 20102010-01-11 +1 copiesNovember 25 20062006-11-25A wide urban street junction in an Indian city at dusk, with a grey asphalt road and white lane markings.
