May 09 20122012-05-09January 12 20072007-01-12A busy street in a South Indian town with a wide paved road running through the centre. Pedestrians walk across the road, including a man in a white dhoti and a woman in a green sari. Several black motorcycles are parked on the right beside a row of shops, and yellow auto-rickshaws sit on the left. A white minibus stands in the middle distance. Tall trees line the left side, and utility poles with overhead wires run along the road. A large billboard on the right shows portraits of men, though the figures are too small to judge clearly. Power lines and a low hill appear in the distance under an overcast sky.2012-05-09 +1 copiesOctober 22 20062006-10-22January 12 20072007-01-12September 23 20062006-09-23October 23 20062006-10-23November 10 20112011-11-10October 23 20062006-10-23A busy street scene in an Indian town, photographed in daylight from the roadway. Several men in white dhotis and shirts walk along the road and ride motorcycles, including a man in a pink shirt riding pillion behind another rider. Two yellow auto-rickshaws are visible, one at centre and one at right. Shops line both sides with signboards, a green-domed mosque tower stands at upper centre, and a pale temple gopuram rises in the distance at left. Plastic bags and sacks lie on the pavement at left. No one is identifiable as a person and no ritual is shown.2012-07-08October 22 20062006-10-22October 20 20062006-10-20
