A large seated gathering of devotees fills a hall with cream-coloured floors. In the foreground two priests in white dhotis with gold borders sit on mats, one wearing a rudraksha mala and bare upper body, the other with hands together in a mudra. Before them sit brass plates with lamps, flowers and small oil lamps. Many boys and men wear orange saffron shawls, and a fair-haired man in white kurta sits at the back. Behind them rows of attendees sit cross-legged, several with palms pressed together in prayer. Small oil lamps flicker on the floor. The scene appears to be a puja or satsang.
