Night procession photographed against a bright orange glow. In the foreground a bare-chested, shaved-headed sadhu in a red dhoti and white cloth holds a long pole raised high, lifting an orange saffron flag. Beside him a man in white dhoti and a red waist cloth grips the same pole. Behind them a row of saffron flags on poles rises into the haze, and several people in white robes walk along the procession route. On the right a man wearing a light turban and white clothing looks up toward the flags, and a saffron-coloured cloth is draped over a person at the edge. No identifiable candidate for a person is clearly visible.
