Dusk scene at a stone-stepped tank beside a large black Shiva linga standing on a platform in the water, with a fountain spray rising from it. Devotees in white and orange clothing line the steps on the left and wade near the water's edge; one woman in a white sari with a red border sits alone on the lower step. Strings of small lamps and red-and-white bunting decorate the water's edge and surrounding wall, and trees and a pale pink-violet evening sky frame the setting.
