Night photograph of a temple tank at a Jayanti Brahmotsavam event. A tall black Shiva linga stands on a platform in the water, with water jets spraying up around it. Devotees in white and pale clothes stand in the water at the base of the linga, and a crowd in white and yellow saris and dhotis lines the stepped white-and-red ghats on the left. Strings of lights and bright lamps line the far edge of the tank. The water reflects the warm lights.
