In the foreground, two men sit cross-legged on the floor before brass and silver puja vessels, oil lamps and offering plates. One man wears white ritual clothing and a white upper cloth, and the other wears a light-coloured dhoti. Several other people stand or sit in the background near the altar. In the foreground a man in white clothing pours liquid from a vessel over a white statue of a deity murti, with a second deity figure in red and gold visible beside it. Behind them is an ornate gold and red shrine with decorative arches and a large framed portrait on the wall. A banner with Tamil lettering runs across the top. The man is the only physical person visible, so the scene is a temple-style puja with a deity murti being bathed.2015-05-05May 07 20122012-05-07A small photograph of a temple interior with a deity murti in the centre, decorated with garlands and flowers.
