Outdoor view of a large open ceremonial courtyard at an ashram with a massive black Shiva lingam on a white and red striped square plinth at centre, with a silver-ringed garland draped over its top. Rows of smaller black lingams with silver-capped tops line the steps in the foreground, and small oil lamps sit among them. Along the left, a group of people in white clothes sits on red tiered seating, and tiers on the right are filled with red-cushioned seats and potted plants. Red and yellow festoon banners stretch across the top, and a red multi-storey building with trees stands behind. Some people in white are visible at the far left and in the right tiers, though most of the crowd is seated at a distance.

Centre stage stands a huge black Shiva linga on a square pedestal with a striped red-and-white base, draped with a red-and-yellow garland. Around the lower steps sit rows of small black lingas on bases, and several people in red and maroon robes sit among them. Along the far seating, a few white-clad figures are gathered, and red-and-white bunting and flags line the back wall under an overcast sky. Rows of black Shiva lingams sit on tiered stone steps around a rectangular water pool, and women in red and gold saris kneel along the steps pouring liquid from brass vessels onto the lingams in abhishekam. A raised central platform in the pool holds a decorated shrine with a tall lingam-shaped structure draped in yellow and red fabric. Spectators in white clothes fill the stands in the background, and a multi-storey red building and palm trees stand behind. No individual a person candidate is clearly visible, so no appearance-based identification is made.2013-07-22November 04 20132013-11-04A large rectangular pool of still turquoise water at a temple-like complex, lined on its near edges by numerous black stone Shivalingams on pedestals. At the far end a tall black shivalinga-shaped structure is decorated with colourful striped garlands and fringed drapery, standing on a platform in the water. Behind, tiered red steps hold seated people in white clothes, some in red, under a grey sky, with a red building and palm trees at the edges. A film camera on a tripod and a long boom arm are visible over the water. The people are small and distant, and no individual can be clearly identified.2013-07-22November 11 20132013-11-11
