Photograph of carved wooden temple chariot components stacked on the flatbed of a long green-and-red trailer truck in an open yard. Two large ornately carved wooden structures with tiered, pillared and latticed panels sit on the trailer, with a third carved piece behind them; a stack of worn tyres and a metal frame rest between them. A red truck with a painted tail stands to the left under a clear pale sky, with corrugated metal sheds behind. No people are visible.

Multiple tiers of stacked wooden pillars and brackets frame figures of deities and attendants carved in relief, with a lion-like guardian figure and a pair of standing figures in the centre. Weathered brown wood with a tiled roof edge and a metal pipe at the left. No people are visible in the frame.2015-08-23A large carved wooden temple chariot (ratha) is being prepared under a corrugated metal shelter and scaffolding frame. Its stacked tiers are densely carved with figures and ornamental motifs, and two large red-painted wooden wheels with iron rims support the red axle frame. Ropes and a wooden beam hang from the structure. On the left, a white-and-red painted temple wall stands beside a tree. At right, two people in white shirts and dhotis stand near the chariot, and a man in a white shirt is partly visible on the top tier. Motorcycles and wooden planks lie on the ground.2012-07-23A large, weathered stone temple tower. Its tiered, carved stonework shows many niches and tiers, and the hazy, overcast light softens its dark surface. A cream plastered building with arched colonnaded windows stands at right, and a white wall sits at lower right. Only partial heads and shoulders appear at the bottom edge of the frame, too little to count reliably. The scaffolding indicates restoration work on the temple structure.2009-08-11June 01 20162016-06-01A large dark carved stone temple chariot, its tiers covered in dense relief sculpture of figures and deities, stands on wooden wheels in a street. Thick rope is wound around the base and metal scaffolding surrounds it, with workers standing on the frame at the top. Two women walk beside the chariot, one in a green blouse and white sari with a braid, the other in a blue sari with a red border and a flower in her hair. A man in a green checked shirt walks past on the right, and a passing bus and parked car are visible in the background.2012-05-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a large, ornately carved wooden structure. Small brass bells hang from several projecting ledges along the carved tiers. The setting appears to be a dim workshop or storage hall with wooden beams and scaffolding visible behind it. No people are visible in the frame.April 24 20192019-04-24June 01 20162016-06-01April 16 20162016-04-16A photograph taken at night of a large dark carved wooden temple chariot, or ratha, resting on red-painted wheels and supports on a bare concrete floor. Its sides are covered with carved panels and figures, and a thick rope is tied around part of the structure. A red motorcycle is parked at the lower left, and yellow barriers stand at the left edge. Pink and blue painted pillars and a blue-painted beam are visible above, with wooden scaffolding leaning against the top of the chariot. No people are visible.2007-08-17
