A photograph of a ritual bathing scene in a red-brick-walled water tank. Several men stand waist-deep in green water: a shaved-headed man in the centre wears a dark patterned cloth around his waist with a white garment over his shoulders and a beaded necklace, while another shaved-headed man beside him wears a white cloth and garland. Other men in white clothes stand nearby, one with a blue lanyard. Above them, on a raised platform draped in white cloth and decorated with marigold garlands, a framed picture and a brass vessel sit beneath a banana leaf. Two men in white stand at the platform edge.

A raised red throne decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and flowers stands on a saffron-draped platform at upper left. A figure with long dark hair in an orange robe holds a microphone on the steps at right, while a man in a white kurta and yellow scarf stands nearby. A dark-haired figure floats face-down in orange cloth at lower left, possibly a devotee being immersed. The scene suggests a holy dip with kalasha offerings in the waters of a sarovar.2010-01-02 +1 copiesSeptember 12 20102010-09-12 +1 copiesOutdoor river or tank ritual in shallow water beside red stone steps.
