Two unfinished clay sculptures of seated figures are being modelled on a metal work table outdoors, in front of a red-brown wooden door and a grey metal cabinet. The left figure is a dull grey-brown clay torso and head with legs crossed, held up by a pale brick. The right figure is a warm orange-brown clay seated figure with arms extended, resting on a white cloth. Three men stand behind: one in a white shirt with a light check pattern, one in a blue-and-white striped shirt, and one in a white shirt with a badge. Modelling tools lie on the table.2013-07-13November 22 20092009-11-22June 05 20132013-06-05Two men kneel on dusty red earth shaping a long mud or clay form laid on a grey concrete slab. The man on the left wears a white striped shirt and light trousers and presses clay with his hand. The younger man on the right wears a grey striped shirt and checked lungi and smooths the clay along its length. A yellow bucket, red bricks, a blue-handled hacksaw and scattered stone chips lie nearby, with rubble and a small fire residue in the background. No deity or a person depiction is visibly identifiable in the scene, and the pictured activity is sculpting work rather than satsang or ritual.2013-06-05June 05 20132013-06-05A photograph of a craftsman seated on the ground in a workshop, sculpting an unfinished clay figure of a seated deity-like form. The man wears a white checked button-up shirt and a yellow dhoti, and works on the figure's arm with his hands. The clay figure is unpainted and rough, with a head and torso still being shaped. Behind him are corrugated metal sheets and an orange wall with a dark red door. A yellow bucket and tools rest on a workbench. No visible candidate for a person is present, only a craftsman and an unfinished statue. +1 copiesJuly 14 20132013-07-14Photograph of wooden yoga-pose sculptures in a workshop. Several unpainted, dark-brown carved wooden figures sit in meditative and yogic postures along a long white-topped bench. One central figure wears a tall pointed hat and raises a hand in a mudra; neighbouring figures have topknots, hands on knees and raised palms. The space has white walls, an electrical outlet, a tiled floor and boxes at the back. No living people are visible.2014-08-24A photograph of artisans sculpting a clay figure of Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, in a plain whitewashed workshop. The unfinished murti is brown-tan, with an elephant trunk and four arms holding a rod and a rounded object. A bare-chested man in a white vest sits at the right, a man in a checked red-and-white shirt leans in from the lower left and works on the base with his hands, and a third man in a white shirt and pink lungi stands behind the murti shaping its body. Clay tools and wet clay lie on a wooden table.2013-06-23Two men work together on an unfinished clay bust of a male head with a smooth face and short hair, set on a rough clay base. The older man on the left has white hair, a white beard, wire-rimmed glasses and a white shirt, and he shapes the ear with his right hand, which wears a gold ring and a steel bracelet. The younger man on the right wears a yellow-and-white checked shirt and a lanyard badge, has a short moustache, and a red-and-white tilak mark on his forehead; he steadies the head with both hands. Behind them are a dark curtain and red-painted walls.2006-09-20May 18 20142014-05-18July 14 20132013-07-14
