July 14 20132013-07-14A photograph of a wooden carving in progress on a metal sheet outdoors, against a corrugated metal wall. A brown polished wooden deity figure with a tied-up hair bun and a bare upper torso sits on the sheet, with a pale sketch of seated figures on paper beside it and two red bricks behind. A person in white dhoti and white shirt stands at the right edge, touching the carving with one hand. Dry earth ground and a small plastic pipe appear at the left.2013-07-14A large dark wooden statue of a standing deity lies horizontally on a cardboard sheet over a grey paved floor, photographed from behind. The figure has bare back and legs, a raised arm bent at the elbow with the hand open, and the other arm extended to the side with a bangle. Terracotta bricks prop up the body and an orange cloth lies at right. The statue shows cracks, pale patches and wear. No living people are visible, only partial feet at the lower left corner.2013-09-04 +1 copiesSeptember 04 20132013-09-04September 18 20062006-09-18A close photograph of a dark wooden seated figure, a deity murti in a cross-legged yogic pose with hands resting in the lap. The figure has a tall tiered conical crown, a white horizontal band across the forehead with a red dot at the centre, and a smooth, unadorned torso. Behind it stands a pale stone or marble backdrop against a yellowish wall with green tape lines, and another wooden hand is partly visible at the right edge. No living people are visible.2015-08-23September 04 20132013-09-04 +2 copiesJuly 13 20132013-07-13 +1 copiesTwo dark brown wooden sculptures sit side by side on a rusted metal bench in a plain room with pale yellow walls and a tiled floor. Both figures are seated in cross-legged yoga poses with white marks and red dots on their foreheads. The figure on the right has a tall pointed headdress, raises one hand in a mudra, and holds a cup-like object in the other. The smaller figure on the left wears a conical crowned headdress and has a bare upper body. These are carved statues, not living people, and no person is physically present.2015-08-23A photograph of a craftsman seated on the ground in a workshop, sculpting an unfinished clay figure of a seated deity-like form. The man wears a white checked button-up shirt and a yellow dhoti, and works on the figure's arm with his hands. The clay figure is unpainted and rough, with a head and torso still being shaped. Behind him are corrugated metal sheets and an orange wall with a dark red door. A yellow bucket and tools rest on a workbench. No visible candidate for a person is present, only a craftsman and an unfinished statue. +1 copiesClose photo of a large dark bronze-toned statue of a bare-chested male figure with a wrapped waist cloth and a raised hand holding a small object. A person in an orange garment with a white thread bracelet stands at right, one hand resting on the statue's shoulder and the other supporting its arm. Plain grey cinderblock wall behind. The visible living person is wearing orange ochre clothing and is partially visible at the edge of the frame.2013-10-05Close photo of two hands holding a dark, weathered wooden or carved figurine of a standing deity with a tall crown-like headdress and multiple arms. The left hand, in a white shirt sleeve with a hairy wrist, cups the figure from below. A second hand on the right holds the top of it, and a man in a blue and brown checked lungi stands at the right edge. The background is dark and blurred. Two people are partly visible, only their hands and clothing, so the count is one to two physical people.2013-06-17
