A large old banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches dominates an outdoor courtyard. A woman in an orange saffron garment with a floral garland stands on a dark tiled platform, holding a small offering or lamp. Beside her, a person in white clothing holds a camera to photograph the scene. Pale stone seating and a white-painted base surround the tree, and a figure in white is partly visible at the left edge holding an offering plate of flowers.
