Outdoor photograph of a large ancient banyan tree with many thick aerial roots and hanging prop roots, set on a raised white-painted circular platform on red earth. A barefoot person in a long orange-saffron robe and a purple flower garland stands at the base of the trunk, facing forward with hands together. To the left, another person in orange clothing holds a plate of flowers near a dark stone slab. Small figures in white are visible far in the background behind a low fence. A thin wooden stake and rope border the platform.

A man in an orange saffron robe, with short dark hair and bare feet, walks across a dark polished stone floor at the left. A small sign with blue lettering reads DO NOT ENTER THIS CAGE in front of the platform. Garlands hang from the trunk, and sunlight filters through the leaves.2010-08-10 +1 copiesA photograph of a massive old banyan tree with many thick aerial roots hanging from its wide spreading branches, standing on sandy ground. A man in a long orange robe with an orange shawl stands smiling at the trunk on the right, with long dark hair and a slight build, and appears to be an in_person candidate only by an orange robe and long hair, which is not distinctive enough to confirm identity; he is described as a sannyasi. Two other men in white dhotis with orange shawls stand at the left edge, partly cropped. A purple and white logo appears in the upper left corner.2006-10-07October 07 20062006-10-07December 31 20092009-12-31A photograph of a large ancient banyan tree with thick aerial roots and sprawling branches at an outdoor shrine. Several people in white and saffron-orange clothing stand on a dark polished stone platform around white-painted raised bases. A man in white with a yellow sash holds a tray of flowers, and a figure in orange robes with a shawl stands near the tree in prayer. Golden poles or lamp stands and white pillars stand nearby, and a trail of flowers rests on the ground.2009-12-27A figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe stands with their back to the camera, facing a large ancient banyan tree with thick, twisting aerial roots and buttress trunks. The figure's long dark hair is visible, and the person stands on a white-painted raised platform within a circular white-edged ground of red earth. Nearby a small white structure and a dark reflective tiled surface lie at the lower left, with a few other small figures in the far background at right. The scene suggests a sacred tree shrine with devotees paying homage at the trunk.2008-12-31December 30 20092009-12-30August 23 20112011-08-23June 12 20102010-06-12December 03 20092009-12-03October 25 20062006-10-25
