Night photograph of a barefoot man in a white checked shirt and grey trousers bending over a dim, sandy ground to light or place small firecrackers. Scattered spent fireworks, paper scraps and a small cone-shaped firework lie around him. Dark trees and a pale wall with a low hedge form the background. The man is not shown with any visible ritual adornment or throne, so his identity is not established by appearance.

A photograph taken at night on a concrete ground littered with spent firework debris. In the foreground a man in orange clothing, with an orange head wrap and bare upper body, crouches low while lighting a small firework on the ground; sparks are spraying from it. Behind him in the dark, a faint figure in dark clothing stands at a distance. The scene is a Deepavali celebration with firecrackers. The crouching man wears orange garments and white-strapped sandals; his appearance does not clearly establish a distinctive a person identity, so the candidate is unsure.

Night photograph of a fireworks display at a dark outdoor site, with bright white sparks and smoke rising in a tall fountain beside a dirt path. A standing man in white dhoti and white shawl, bare-chested, stands at right beside the sparks, with a second white-clad figure partially visible at far left near the ground. Trees and dark background frame the scene. The image shows a Deepavali-style fireworks scene; the figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm a particular identity.

Night photograph of a Deepavali-style fireworks display on an open dirt ground. A bare-chested man in front, wearing a white dhoti with a red-bordered cloth over his shoulder and a rudraksha-style mala, lights or handles a firework with one arm extended, while sparks shoot upward in tall fountains. Smoke drifts across the frame. Several other people in white dhotis and white shirts stand in the background, some with malas, and one figure on the right wears a white robe and mala. The scene is lit only by the sparks and dim ground light against a dark sky.
