A large heap of mixed loose flower petals and whole blossoms fills the foreground: red and orange rose petals, yellow marigold petals and white jasmine-like flowers piled high. Bundles of red and orange fabric or garland strands are stacked along the top edge, and a faint spray of water or mist drifts across the upper left. No people are visible; the scene looks like a flower offering pile for a ritual.

A large heap of mixed flower petals and loose blossoms fills the frame, mostly red, yellow, orange and white, with white jasmine-like flowers in the lower left. Behind it, rolled red and orange printed fabric bundles tied with cord sit against a grey tarpaulin. No people, deities or figures are visible. The scene suggests a flower offering pile at a temple or ashram, shown in a close, top-down view.2015-07-31A basket of marigolds and red flowers is being tipped over a stone-edged bathing ghat, scattering yellow and orange petals in motion onto a pile of flowers and a dark cloth below. A person in a red shirt and dark trousers pours the basket, and at the right edge a man in a white dhoti with a bare upper body and a bronze armband stands at the railing, plus a partly visible figure in white near the edge. Green water and red striped steps lie behind.2015-07-31December 15 20072007-12-15A close-up photograph of a large metal tray densely filled with loose flower petals and blossoms in yellow, magenta, pink, purple, orange and white, with some green leaves scattered among them. The wearer's cream dhoti or silk garment has a gold border and a gold-brocaded upper cloth. Beside it, a cupped hand and a gold bangle appear in the lower right, and white jasmine garlands hang at the right edge. A yellow backdrop and a small orange-and-red altar with flowers sit behind. Another white-clad figure stands at the left edge. The image shows only legs, feet and hands, so no face is visible.2007-12-15A photograph of a seated figure on a golden throne-like seat being showered with pink rose petals from above. The throne is framed by garlands of white jasmine and red and orange flowers with green leaves. Two rounded golden cushions rest on either side of the seat. A woman in a white sari with a red and gold border stands at the right edge, and a hand of another attendant appears at the left. Heavy flower shower suggests honouring of the seated figure, but the seated person's face and clothing are largely hidden by the petals, so the appearance is uncertain.2012-07-03
