A night-time outdoor event lit by strings of bulbs and floodlights, with tall date palms in the foreground and a striped, colourful bunting canopy at left. Several men in white shirts and dhotis walk and stand among the palms, and a man in a blue shirt stands near the centre. Beyond them, people sit in rows along a white-draped stage area. On the right, a large portrait on a stand shows a bearded figure wearing a white turban and white garments, framed against a dark sky.
