Under a colourful bunting-trimmed canopy in green, pink, yellow and blue, a large crowd of men and some women sits on red plastic chairs behind a white cloth barrier, watching toward the stage. Palm trees, strings of fairy lights and a bright floodlight light the scene. In the lower right, a figure in a saffron-orange robe and a bright yellow-orange turban, with long hair and a rudraksha-style mala, stands near the front; the pose and dress are consistent with a sannyasi, and the cues are distinctive enough to suggest Swamiji (probable). Several white-shirted attendants stand near the crowd. Large portrait banners hang on the stage area in the background.2005-11-19Night outdoor darshan gathering under palm fronds and strings of small lights. A bright floodlight and a large green banner stand at left, with low buildings and a rocky hill behind. Too many people are visible to count precisely, so the crowd is estimated at well over twenty.2005-11-19November 19 20052005-11-19January 08 20122012-01-08November 19 20052005-11-19Night photo of a large outdoor public darshan session with a dense crowd of many hundreds seated on red and blue plastic chairs facing a stage. Bright floodlights and a row of white lamps light the event. On the left, a tall vertical banner shows a smiling man in a white turban and a smaller portrait of an older man in a white turban; a second banner on the stage backdrop shows similar figures. Strings of small lights and bunting stretch overhead. Several people in the front rows wear white, yellow and pastel shirts, and one person wears a grey cap. a person appears only on the banners, so no in-person candidate is visible on stage; the crowd is the main subject.2005-11-19
