Night photograph of an outdoor gathering around a tall palm tree wrapped with strings of small orange electric lights, with more lights hanging through its fronds. Many people stand in loose groups, most seen from behind or in profile; a few wear white shirts and dhotis, and one in the centre wears an orange garment. Bright floodlights and a large hanging banner with a portrait of a woman in a blue and gold design stand in the background. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible, so no candidate is claimed. Tall palms and a dark night sky complete the scene.
