Close-up photograph of a large mound of reddish-brown earth in the foreground, with small pebbles scattered across its loose surface. Behind it, out of focus, several people stand in a crowd: a figure in white dhoti and white shirt on the right, a person in a pink garment at the right edge, and figures in orange and purple saris and dark clothing in the background, with a green leafy branch above. The scene appears to be an outdoor ground-breaking or earth-moving gathering, with the soil as the sharp focal point.
