Night photo of a large copper deepam bowl atop a white-draped pillar, lit by a long-handled torch held up by a person seen from behind, with long dark wavy hair and an orange garment. Coconut palm fronds frame a dark sky with a faint moon. Grey stone statues stand at the left base of the pillar. The flame is being used to light the bowl during Karthikai Deepam celebrations.

A figure with long, wavy dark hair, seen from behind, wears a saffron-orange garment with gold borders and holds a long torch whose flame rises toward a large copper bowl-shaped lamp.
