Four radiating arms form a symmetrical design, with a central square and a small metal ornament at the centre. Scattered petals and kumkum-like red dots decorate the surface. At the edges are brass oil lamps, a brass bowl, flower garlands, and the lower legs of people in pale and saffron-coloured clothing. This appears to be a mandala process for a homa and samaya deeksha ceremony.2015-07-17A photograph of a floral rangoli-style arrangement on bare ground.
