The young man has a shaved head, silver earrings, a saffron-orange robe with pink trim and a beaded bracelet. Behind them stand a golden cobra-hooded seat and a silver staff, with a peacock-feather fan at left and a gold ritual vessel at lower left against red drapery. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, a ceremonial gold garland and a red-orange wrap, and is conferring a blessing on the kneeling disciple.2014-07-25September 14 20142014-09-14May 13 20142014-05-13July 26 20142014-07-26A photograph of a ceremonial moment in front of a red draped backdrop and a gold-trimmed chair. A bare-chested man with swept-back hair, a white tilak on his forehead, and layered rudraksha malas smiles while raising his right hand to touch the forehead of a second man. The second man wears an orange shirt and orange shawl, eyes closed, with gold bangles and a ring, and his hands are open in front of him. The first man holds a small paper card in his left hand, and a red cloth and small items are visible on a table below. The bare-chested figure's distinctive hair, rudraksha malas and ornamentation match the a person cues, so he is described as a person in a blessing role; the other man is a devotee.2012-09-08A photograph of a long-haired man in a rust-red wrap with a heavy gold rudraksha-style mala and white forehead marking places his right hand on the crown of a shaved-headed person in red and white robes with a red scarf. The recipient, with a white tilak and small earrings, raises a hand toward the blessing. Behind them stands a silver staff or ceremonial rod and a golden ornate object against deep red drapery. A paper is held in the blessing figure's left hand. Possibly a blessing or initiation moment; the long-haired figure has distinctive adornments and a rudraksha mala, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-07-21A photograph of an indoor ritual setting in which a man with long dark hair tied in a bun and a white forehead mark, wearing an orange-gold shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, lays his right hand on the forehead of a shaven-headed young man in an orange robe with beaded malas and a small earring. The recipient has eyes closed and a palm raised in a gesture of reception. Behind them, a seated woman in orange and a second seated woman in a cream sari with a pale fan and red curtains are present, and a gold-coloured object is in the lower left foreground. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment in an ashram hall. Probable Swamiji wearing the orange-gold shawl, long swept-back hair and ornate necklace is placing his hand in blessing; the image is consistent with a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam satsang event.2013-11-05July 24 20142014-07-24A seated man with long dark hair swept back, wearing a rust-orange dhoti-style wrap, a gold ceremonial necklace of beads and a sandalwood tilak on his forehead, reaches out and presses his palm onto the forehead of a kneeling devotee. The devotee wears a white shirt and an orange-and-white shawl printed with script, and holds up one hand palm-forward in reverence. Behind them stand a golden cobra-entwined staff, a gold ornamental figure, a peacock-feather fan at left, and a silver standard against a deep red drape. The seated man has distinctive long hair, ornate gold necklace and orange wrap, matching the Swamiji (probable) presentation, giving the blessing role of a teacher.2014-07-25
