Photograph of a temple doorway with painted and sculpted guardian figures on either side, one with hands folded in namaskar. Several men stand on the stone steps: a uniformed police officer in khaki with a cap and a plainclothes officer with a dark shirt, a man in a white shirt, and a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red-orange shawl, near a lamp. Two figures in white dhotis and a figure in red stand inside near an altar or deity murti at the entrance, with an oil lamp burning in front. Another man in a white shirt stands at the right foreground with his back to the camera, and a partly visible person sits at the lower right. Painted wall murals show temple and river scenes.
