Many wear saffron-orange robes and shawls, including women in orange saris with red blouses, and several men in white dhotis with gold borders, shaved-headed, with hands pressed together in anjali. In front of them are green banana leaves set with small piles of food, white cups and flowers, and a few candles or lamps. Framed portraits hang on the far wall above colourful fabric bunting, and a seated figure in orange sits near the centre front. The scene suggests a satsang or ritual meal gathering.2011-11-07A large hall with pink walls and a white tiled floor shows two long rows of seated participants in orange and saffron robes and orange turbans, facing a central aisle. Many sit before banana leaves set with small offerings, cups and fruit. At the far end, a figure in red sits on an ornate gold throne with a gold canopy, flanked by standing attendants in white. A striped woven runner lies down the aisle. Framed portraits hang on the side walls, and a photo collage is mounted at right. Participants fold their hands in prayer. An attendee wearing a white robe stands near the throne, and the scene is a seated assembly before a throne. The image is a photo of the gathering, with the seated figure on the throne appearing as a candidate whose identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2017-09-19August 03 20132013-08-03January 12 20082008-01-12July 02 20172017-07-02Photo 99228302011-01-01 +2 copiesJuly 14 20132013-07-14 +1 copies
