The figure raises one hand in blessing. It is garlanded with white jasmine strands, yellow marigolds and red roses, and rests on a wooden plinth. Behind it stands a red and gold throne backdrop with a white cloth draped over it. Brass oil lamps with flower decorations flank the statue, and an open book rests on a wooden stand at the left edge of the frame. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with a decorated seat for ritual use.2010-10-04 +1 copiesMay 01 20122012-05-01A white marble statue of a seated figure in an orange saffron robe and orange head wrap, with a rudraksha mala around the neck and a raised hand in abhaya-mudra gesture.
