Outdoor photograph of a large ritual gathering on a paved ground. Rows of white-clad devotees, most wearing white dhotis and shawls, sit facing forward, each before a black Shiva lingam set on a white base. Behind the rows, a line of people in saffron and orange robes and white garments stands behind a bamboo barrier. Two decorative umbrellas with red, orange and yellow panels rise above the crowd, and red and saffron flags fly from poles against a pale sky with trees at left.
