Outdoor procession on dusty ground under a pale sky. Foreground shows a line of people walking: several in saffron and orange robes, others in white dhotis and white shirts, and women in white saris with orange shawls. A decorated multicolored canopy umbrella and an orange-and-red pennant on a pole are carried above the group, with red flags and strings of lights behind. Rows of white-covered seats stand in the background behind a wooden fence. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable from appearance, so this is a procession of devotees and sannyasis.2008-05-19Outdoor photo on dusty ground at an event with rows of white-covered seating or mats behind bamboo fencing. A man with long dark hair and a grey-bearded face walks forward in a saffron-orange robe with a saffron shawl, bare feet, with a dark rudraksha-style mala. Two saffron-robed attendants walk behind him, one with a garland, and a man in white dhoti and shirt walks beside him with hands folded. Ornate multicoloured parasols with fringe and red-and-orange flags with dark circular emblems stand above. Strings of small yellow lights hang overhead, and a camera operator is visible at the right edge. Several people in white stand on the right.2008-05-19An outdoor photograph on a dusty red-earth ground at an event site. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes wears a white flower garland and stands among orange-clad companions. Behind them, an ornate multicoloured canopy with fringed edges shelters the scene, and a row of white-covered seating or dais units lies to the left. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands in the foreground with his back turned, another in a white kurta and a man in a white shirt stand nearby, and strings of small orange lights are strung between bamboo poles. The figure in orange with the garland has long dark hair and appears to match the Swamiji (probable) description given the distinctive long hair, saffron robes and garland cues, while the surrounding people wear white and orange ritual attire.2008-05-19Outdoor procession on a dirt road under a clear sky with trees behind. Two large colourful parasols with blue, red, yellow and white panels and fringed edges are carried over a line of devotees. At the front, a figure in saffron-orange robes with a white flower garland walks with a sash; the figure's long dark hair and orange clothing are visible but the appearance is not clear enough to identify. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shirts and women in colourful saris walk together, some carrying small items. A boy in a blue shirt stands at the roadside, and a red-and-yellow ceremonial banner is held aloft near the centre.2008-05-19May 19 20082008-05-19Outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees. A man in an orange robe and a long orange shawl walks at the front, followed by a line of men in white dhotis and orange shawls. Above them, large ornate parasols in orange, red and gold with embroidered designs are carried on poles by men in white clothing. A man in a red-orange wrap and orange garment walks among them holding a camera. Several white tents stand behind the trees. Some men in the procession hold their hands together in greeting. The scene suggests a ceremonial welcome procession with ritual parasols.2007-12-07December 23 20092009-12-23December 07 20072007-12-07January 01 20082008-01-01July 26 20102010-07-26December 24 20092009-12-24November 10 20112011-11-10
