A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a temple courtyard. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears a saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, and his bare feet rest on a tray. Two bald priests in white dhotis and ceremonial gold necklaces kneel before the throne, one washing or offering with a brass vessel and the other holding a plate of flowers, fruit and offerings. A third priest in white stands at right with arms folded, and a fourth man is partly visible at lower left. A red-and-white striped wall and a golden curtain form the background. A man in orange wearing a rudraksha mala and seated on a throne, with his feet being worshipped, fits the page's description of a person; the appearance cues are distinctive enough to label him a probable candidate.2010-09-082010 - Photo Album +2 copiesAugust 01 20102010-08-01 +1 copies2010 - Photo Album +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes on an ornate gold-and-red throne, hands pressed together in namaste. Before him, a devotee in white ritual dress kneels on a red cushion, bowing forward toward the throne's footrest, while a second priest in white stands behind, partly visible. The setting is a temple-style hall with red and white striped pillars and a small framed sign on the wall. The scene suggests a padapuja-style honouring, with the seated figure receiving obeisance from a kneeling devotee.2010-11-03November 16 20102010-11-16
