2011 - Photo AlbumA seated man in an orange saffron robe with a bare left shoulder sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, smiling as a younger man in a white kurta stands before him with palms joined, lightly touching the seated man's forehead with his right hand. The seated man has long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak mark. A small book and red items rest on the throne. Gold-edged blue draped backdrop behind. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), seated on throne as the one receiving the blessing, with saffron robe and long hair as cues; standing man in white is a devotee.2010-09-13A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes on an ornate gold-and-red throne, hands pressed together in namaste. Several people in white clothes sit below him on the floor, one leaning forward to touch his feet during a padapuja. Before him, a devotee in white ritual dress kneels on a red cushion, bowing forward toward the throne's footrest, while a second priest in white stands behind, partly visible. The setting is a temple-style hall with red and white striped pillars and a small framed sign on the wall. The scene suggests a padapuja-style honouring, with the seated figure receiving obeisance from a kneeling devotee.2010-11-03A smiling man sits on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a gold-beaded necklace with a flower garland, and a dark head ornament, and his bare feet rest on a yellow cushion. A blue-painted wooden door is visible behind him. The seated figure has distinctive saffron and ornate cues, so this is a person appearance on the throne, but the image is a small photograph and the identification remains uncertain.2012-05-112010 - Photo Album +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a temple courtyard. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears a saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, and his bare feet rest on a tray. Two bald priests in white dhotis and ceremonial gold necklaces kneel before the throne, one washing or offering with a brass vessel and the other holding a plate of flowers, fruit and offerings. A third priest in white stands at right with arms folded, and a fourth man is partly visible at lower left. A red-and-white striped wall and a golden curtain form the background. A man in orange wearing a rudraksha mala and seated on a throne, with his feet being worshipped, fits the page's description of a person; the appearance cues are distinctive enough to label him a probable candidate.2010-09-08 +1 copiesA photograph of a ritual at a temple-like setting. A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a red sleeveless top and orange garment with a green garland, applies a mark or anoints the forehead of an elderly man in white who kneels on a red cushioned footstool. The seated figure holds a silver plate with offerings. Behind them, several people in saffron, orange and yellow robes stand, one wearing a purple headpiece. The seated figure has long dark hair and a sandalwood mark on the forehead. Stone pillars and a dark doorway frame the scene.2009-02-23December 03 20102010-12-03A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing saffron-orange robes, a long gold-and-beaded necklace, and white arm bands, holding a long white rod. His bare feet rest on a small tray with flowers. In front, a shaved-headed man in orange robes sits on a mat, bending forward and holding a small pot near a brass bowl of offerings and a dish of flowers. The setting is a bright room with a gold-trimmed red seat, consistent with a ritual or devotional gathering.2012-05-21
