A dense outdoor procession crowd under a covered pavilion. A long-haired man with a swept-back hairstyle wears a gold necklace, a red and gold garland, and a cream-and-gold garment, walking beneath a multicoloured canopy with yellow, green and blue panels and tasselled fringe. Behind him stands a golden trident-topped staff, and devotees in orange and white raise their hands around him. Other people in orange, saffron and white clothes press in from all sides, and the setting features orange triangular flags and a shrine with flowers in the background.2009-01-01January 01 20092009-01-01May 01 20162016-05-01July 19 20162016-07-19December 23 20162016-12-23A dense outdoor procession crowd moves under colourful yellow, red and blue ceremonial parasols decorated with bird emblems and tasselled fringes. Many people raise their arms and dance with joy. Several men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas walk near a gold trident-topped staff, while others wear white kurtas and shirts. A woman in an orange and gold sari raises her hand in the foreground, and banana leaves and palm trees stand behind the crowd under bright sunlight.2009-01-01July 19 20162016-07-19A dense outdoor procession photographed from street level, with a crowd pressing close around a central figure. A man in the centre wears long dark hair swept back, a white and gold garment, a red floral garland and a gold chain, and a white tilak on his forehead; he is in the middle of the group and appears to be the focal figure, a probable Swamiji appearance-based candidate given his long swept hair, ornate white-and-gold clothing and garlands. Nearby, several men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha-style beaded necklaces walk among the crowd. A large golden trident rises in front of the group. Above them, ceremonial yellow and red banners with embroidered floral motifs and tasselled fringes are carried on long poles. Several white-clad men raise their hands in the foreground, and a thatched structure with banana leaves stands behind.2009-01-01December 03 20162016-12-03December 31 20092009-12-31December 23 20162016-12-23January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copies
