A photograph of a large ornate deity murti, a Shiva-Parvati style pair seated side by side on a gilded throne-like seat before golden draped curtains and a gilded arch. The figure on the left wears a red turban, a multi-stone jewelled necklace and carries a trident, while the figure on the right wears a green and red sari, a jewelled necklace and a tall decorated crown. Red and purple garlands hang across both figures, and a rudraksha mala drapes down the central pillar. A brass kalasha sits in front of the central pedestal. These are statues, not living people, and no in-person candidate is visible.
