A central figure with long dark hair wears a white dhoti and white shawl, arm extended forward, apparently directing a crowd on bare dirt scattered with paper debris. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and saris stand in lines, some in orange shawls, one orange-clad man near the left holding a small object. Children and adults gather in the middle distance. Appearance cues of long hair and a white robe with an orange shawl on a nearby figure are noted, but the central figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27August 09 20072007-08-09A photograph of a group walking across a dusty open ground in front of a red-walled building with a curved green metal roof, small finials and a red flag on top. Palm trees and a concrete wall stand behind them under an overcast sky. In the foreground a man in an orange robe and orange shawl carries a walking stick and a dark bag. Beside him, a woman in a maroon sari and a woman in a yellow-and-white outfit follow, with a man in white and dark trousers behind them. To the right, several women in white saris with yellow borders and a man in white walk in a line. Two people in saffron-orange robes walk near the left side of the group. The scene is a visual record of an ashram walk.2007-12-20October 29 20062006-10-29 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a dusty courtyard in front of a long white building with green corrugated metal roofs and decorative finials along the top. Devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, several wearing yellow or orange sashes, scatter and set off fireworks; smoke rises from a burning spot near the centre and spent firecrackers litter the ground. A woman in a white sari and a man in an orange cloth stand among them, while a larger group of onlookers in white, orange and saffron clothing watches from the shaded veranda. A small orange and white flag flies on a pole at the upper right.2008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27A photograph of a paved path crossing a grassy lawn toward a traditional Kerala-style palace building with a sloping terracotta-tiled roof and white walls. In the foreground, a man with long dark hair, a saffron-orange robe and a garland of beads walks with hands clasped, a figure matching the Swamiji (probable) profile by his long swept hair, saffron clothing and garland. Beside and ahead of him, a bare-chested elderly man in a white dhoti and an older man in a white dhoti walk side by side. Several more people in white and saffron clothing follow behind along the path, and a lone figure in white stands near the left white wall.2006-11-10
