Outdoor photo of a long double line of devotees in white and cream clothing standing on dirt ground in front of a thatched-roof temple building with a red-painted lower wall and a green cloth decoration on its roof. Many people raise their arms overhead with hands joined in a reverent gesture. Parked cars, auto-rickshaws and trees surround the open yard, and a white van with a star emblem stands in the foreground. The scene appears to be a gathering at an ashram courtyard.2005-03-08October 27 20082008-10-27March 08 20052005-03-08March 08 20052005-03-08July 27 20082008-07-27Two long lines of devotees in white clothing stand facing each other along a dirt path during a procession. On the left, men wear white shirts and white dhotis, some with small garlands or cloth bags; a young boy in white stands near the middle. On the right, women wear white saris with coloured borders, some carrying black handbags and plastic bags. Thatched-roof structures, a tiled building, palm fronds and trees frame the open, sunny courtyard. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person in this view.2006-12-30 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a group of devotees in white and cream traditional clothes, many with gold-bordered dhotis and saris, standing in two lines on a dirt courtyard in front of a long orange-red building with decorative white patterns and a doorway. A person in saffron/orange robes stands at the top of the entrance steps, and a figure in white stands on the path among the devotees. A grey hill rises behind the building, with trees and parked silver cars at the sides.2010-12-29Outdoor photograph at an open dirt ground beside a white building with a green corrugated roof and red-trimmed open shelter, palm trees and a block wall behind. Many people in white dhotis and white kurtas, some women in saris and salwar outfits, stand in loose groups watching. Several children and adults in white walk barefoot across the scattered paper and debris, and one person in white and orange cloth bends over a red object on the ground. A white SUV is parked near the wall. The scene suggests a community gathering, with the participants' attire and the ground covered in confetti-like scraps.2008-10-27March 08 20052005-03-08July 28 20082008-07-28 +1 copiesDecember 29 20102010-12-29Outdoor photograph of a group of men in white dhotis and white kurtas, many wearing orange or saffron shawls and some yellow shawls, walking across a dirt ground littered with spent firecrackers and paper debris. A man in the centre wears an orange robe and a bearded man in a white kurta and orange shawl stands nearby, while one man at right holds a bundle of red strings. A crowd of onlookers in salwar kameez and everyday clothes watches from behind, beside a small white building with a red-roofed canopy, a concrete wall and a parked silver SUV. The scene suggests a Diwali celebration with crackers at an ashram. The most distinctive figure cues are a bearded man in white with an orange shawl, which may correspond to a person, but appearance is not clearly distinctive enough for certainty.2008-10-27
