A close overhead photograph of a wet, dark brown clay mould or casting with raised ornamental relief carving. Swirling scrolls, leaf-like curls and a central motif with a rounded boss sit on a flat slab resting on sandy red soil and torn newspaper edges. No people are visible; the surface glistens with moisture. The piece resembles a temple sculptural panel or decorative architectural element being prepared.

Close photo of two hands working on a brown wax or clay mould of a small figure lying in a dark rubber-like mould set in a pale concrete block, sitting on dusty ground. One hand, wearing a ring, holds a fine tool to shape the figure; the other, in a blue checked sleeve, presses a piece of brown material. No deity or person is clearly identifiable, and the figure is a shaped sculpture in progress.

A photograph of a craftsman's hands working on a cast of a small figure in a dark brown, glossy material on a rough concrete block. The figure appears to be a sculpted deity murti being shaped or finished from a mold or wax-like cast, with a dark grey backing sheet beneath it. The man wears a blue and white checked lungi-style cloth and holds a thin tool near the piece. Sandy ground and a white cloth lie in the background.

A blackened, partly charred metal deity murti lies on its side on reddish-brown earth and rubble. The figure has a cylindrical crown-like head piece, multiple arms, and ornamental jewellery, with the surface soot-blackened and corroded, possibly from fire damage. No people are visible in the frame.

A close view of a heap of dark stone sculptures, many carved with coiled serpents and rounded forms, layered together and coated in grey dust and mud. Some pieces show red paint or marks, and a cloth-wrapped edge is visible at the upper left. No people are visible; the scene looks like stone carvings stacked or stored in a temple setting.

Outdoor photo of clay and terracotta sculpture pieces lying on a rough wooden plank amid broken clay chunks and dust. Several orange-brown carved forms with incised patterned surfaces, including a head-like piece with a crown-shaped top, a shell-like curved piece, and larger wet dark clay sections, sit on the plank. A pair of red-handled pliers lies at lower left.

Close overhead photograph of a freshly formed mud lingam, a smooth cylindrical shape with a rounded top rising from a broad mound of wet brown clay on a grey concrete floor. Scattered clay crumbs and small orange and pink paint specks dot the surface around it, and a bit of a metal tool edge is visible at the lower left. No people are visible in the frame.
