A close photograph of a craftsman's hands working on a dark brown wax or clay mould of a figure lying on a grey stone slab. A plaid shirt sleeve is visible at the right edge. The mould shows a sculpted human form with arms and legs, set against a dark grey backing sheet on a rough concrete block over sandy ground. Strips of white cloth lie at the lower right.

A photograph of a craftsman's hands working on a cast of a small figure in a dark brown, glossy material on a rough concrete block. The figure appears to be a sculpted deity murti being shaped or finished from a mold or wax-like cast, with a dark grey backing sheet beneath it. The man wears a blue and white checked lungi-style cloth and holds a thin tool near the piece. Sandy ground and a white cloth lie in the background.

A close photograph of a sculpted wooden or clay figure's lower body, shown from the front seated posture: thighs, knees and bare feet with toes, glossy dark brown with orange-brown highlights and scattered wood shavings on a dark work table. Only a partial person is visible at the top edge, a hand resting on the figure's hip and a white-clad arm and lap, so the visible human is a craftsman or assistant, not an identifiable figure. The figure is an unfinished carving, not a finished murti.

Overhead view of a mould being prepared on reddish-brown soil. A hand with a red thread bracelet rests on a pale grey-beige slab at the top left, while a dark brown, moulded or cast material lies over the centre. A torn tan cardboard or paper sheet, marked with faint blue and red lines, curls at right. Another person's hand and a patterned cloth edge appear at the bottom. No people are visible in full, and no a person candidate is present.

A photograph of a large irregular lump of copper-toned metal sheet, partially shaped into a mound, resting on a concrete or dusty floor. The metal shows a textured, blue-and-orange oxidised surface and a folded flap on top. Its base is embedded in grey plaster or cement set over newspaper fragments. A white plastic bag lies at the bottom edge. No people are visible.

A photograph of a reclining animal sculpture, a brown-and-dark-glossy wax or clay model of a recumbent bull or cow with its head raised, resting on a wooden board in a workshop. Behind it on the right is a small clay furnace with glowing charcoal and metal tongs, and a sheet of grey metal or plaster lies at upper left. No people are visible.

A photograph of metal casting work outdoors on a dusty ground with scattered ash and charcoal. Two bare hands of a worker in a white shirt press and shape a dark wax or clay mould of a seated animal figure, reddish-brown at the head and dark brown on the body, resting on a wooden board. Burnt bricks, a dark crucible or pot and a sack lie nearby. Only the worker's hands and forearms and the edge of his white shirt are visible.

A large weathered stone sculpture lies partly excavated in reddish-brown soil. It appears to be a broken or unearthed carved stone object, with a dark, smooth patch and wire tied around its surface. A bare foot is visible at the top left edge and a metal pipe runs along the top of the frame. The scene looks like an archaeological or site-clearing excavation. No people are clearly visible apart from the partial foot.

Close photo of two hands working on a brown wax or clay mould of a small figure lying in a dark rubber-like mould set in a pale concrete block, sitting on dusty ground. One hand, wearing a ring, holds a fine tool to shape the figure; the other, in a blue checked sleeve, presses a piece of brown material. No deity or person is clearly identifiable, and the figure is a shaped sculpture in progress.

A large clay sculpture of a bare human foot rests on two red bricks on bare sandy ground. The moist reddish-brown clay is coarse and unfinished, with the toes and sole shaped in rough form. Behind it lie a stack of red bricks, a strip of wooden board, and the lower legs of a person in white clothing with sandals nearby. The scene looks like an outdoor sculpting workshop.

A photograph of a large reddish-orange clay or plaster sculpture lying on a concrete base on a dirt floor, appearing to be an unfinished or in-progress statue with yellowish lines marking its shape. Beside it lie smaller pieces of the same reddish material, a rusted metal tool, a small metal cup, scraps of newspaper and a pink cloth. Only a pair of bare feet is visible at the top edge, belonging to someone partly out of frame. No deity or a person depiction is clearly identifiable.
