The hand, wearing a silver ring, holds a flat dark tool pressed against the metal near the rim. The worker wears a blue and grey checked garment, and dark clay or casting material sits at the edge of the vessel. A printed photograph is visible at the top of the frame. The scene suggests metal casting or finishing work at a sacred arts workshop.2006-12-10July 01 20092009-07-01September 03 20092009-09-03December 12 20092009-12-12September 06 20092009-09-06A photograph of metalwork on bare ground. A worker in a white-and-blue checked shirt and a red-and-brown lungi holds a curved, partly shaped copper sheet steady with both hands, while a second worker in a white cloth swings a wooden-handled hammer to shape it. Another worker in a red-and-white patterned lungi sits nearby. A flat metal plate or mould lies on the dirt behind them, and a wooden board rests under the sheet. The copper shows orange, grey and blue oxidation marks.2006-12-10 +1 copiesOctober 22 20112011-10-22
