In the foreground a figure with long matted locks and a rudraksha headband, bare-backed and wearing a rust-red shawl with gold border, turns toward the flame. Nearby, a woman in a blue and gold sari holds a silver trident-staff, and people in saffron and orange robes with rudraksha malas stand behind, one holding a brass horn. A woman in a red and gold outfit to the left watches. The setting is a temple entrance with white-washed walls.2018-04-14A shirtless man with a shaved head and white ash stripes on his arms and chest stands in profile holding a brass multi-tiered aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps and an ornate handle, extending it forward with both hands. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and a dark rudraksha mala across his chest. Behind him, several people in orange clothes sit on cushions on a white floor, with small oil lamps and offering trays, in a hall with framed photographs on the wall and a wooden door. The scene reads as an aarti ritual during a gathering.2017-01-04July 07 20152015-07-07April 28 20132013-04-28
