A photograph inside a small shrine room. A long-haired man in an orange saffron garment with a white and red garland around his neck stands at left, holding a ritual implement toward an ornate painted shrine. The shrine is painted in red, yellow, blue and maroon with a yellow canopy and a glass front, housing white and gold deity figures. Strings of small red lights hang at right and a green leaf sprig hangs from above. A second man in white stands behind at left, and a red, blue and green cloth hangs on the left wall.2008-11-12November 12 20082008-11-12A night-time scene at a small shrine decorated with leafy garlands and strings of beads. A man in white clothes stands at left with hands joined in prayer, facing the shrine. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe bends forward with head lowered before a small yellow-and-red shrine structure holding a painted deity murti. A colourful geometric cloth hangs behind the standing man. The setting appears to be a puja or darshan at a temporary shrine.2008-11-12A worshipper seen from behind, with long black hair and a white flower garland around the neck, wearing an orange garment, reaches toward a small deity murti seated on a yellow tiered altar. The altar, decorated with red dots and a finial, sits on a red and black base. Mango leaf strands and red-beaded green cords hang across the wall above, under a blue and red striped cloth canopy. A painted nameboard on the base reads SRI NITHYANANDA. A blurred hand is in the foreground. The scene appears to be a ritual touching of the murti at a small shrine.2008-11-12June 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesNovember 12 20082008-11-12June 05 20122012-06-05November 12 20082008-11-12Night photograph of a puja before an illuminated shrine decorated with a multicolored arched frame of pink, yellow, green and blue with silver tinsel and sequin-like ornaments.
