A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a red border garlands a woman in a long orange sari with a red and white flower garland, offering the garland to her. A man in a white shirt stands behind them, and a younger man on the right in a yellow and green shawl and white dhoti, with white forehead marks, watches. Two bare-chested devotees stand at the lower edges. The woman in orange does not clearly match a person candidate; no ornate saffron robe, long swept hair or rudraksha cues are shown, so no in-person a person is identified.2008-07-29A photograph of a ritual reception in a plain room with peach walls and a tall decorative banner in the upper right. A man in a yellow shirt raises a hand, applying red kumkum or vibhuti to the forehead of a bare-chested shaven-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti. The priest wears a long red and green flower garland with yellow marigolds, and a red-and-orange shawl hangs over his shoulder. Beside him a man in a white shirt holds a silver tray with a white cloth, and a shaven priest in orange holds a gold ritual object. An older man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands in the foreground, and another man in a white shirt with a red lanyard stands at left. The garland and tray suggest a devotee greeting or a ritual honouring, but no specific festival is shown.2011-01-26December 20 20092009-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20A photograph of a temple shrine area where a long-haired man in plain orange robes stands at the right, wearing a long garland of red roses, green leaves and yellow marigolds. Beside him a younger man in orange robes kneels and holds a brass lamp with a flame toward the shrine, while another man in orange stands behind. At the left edge, a man in a white shirt with a dark rudraksha mala and a bearded older man in white and orange hold a brass tray of white jasmine and orange flowers. Pink and white flower petals are scattered on the stone ledge, and a deity murti and a red-and-orange draped figure appear in the background. Several people are visible.2008-08-07A photograph of a ceremonial blessing inside a temple hall with white arches and a blue-framed shrine niche. A man in a saffron-orange cloth with a red-and-gold trim, a red-bordered shawl, a flower garland, a red-bead mala and a braided hair bun with a red floral crown places his hands on the head of a man in a white shirt, who has his hands folded in prayer. Probable Swamiji is the central figure, with long hair in a bun, a crown, ornate gold earrings, rudraksha malas and a white garland, matching the appearance-based cues for the presiding figure. Around them, devotees in white clothes and orange shawls stand with hands folded, and a man in an orange robe with rudraksha beads stands at right. A yellow sunshade hangs at the upper left and a golden halo shape appears behind the crowd.2012-05-18A photograph of a temple corridor with stone pillars and colourful gopuram tops in the background. A long-haired man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a garland of white and yellow flowers and a ceremonial gold chain, stands centre-right in a group. Around him, several men in saffron robes with gold-bordered shawls, bare-chested with ceremonial gold necklaces and rudraksha malas, and men in white dhotis with gold borders stand on a stone floor marked with red and white kolam designs. A man in a blue-and-white jacket and a man in a white shirt are nearby, and a flower garland is visible at lower right. Seven or more people are visible.2010-12-29
