A dim temple interior at night shows a long-haired man in an orange-saffron garment with a white floral garland and a red-and-white flower garland, holding a brass tray with a lit oil lamp and flower petals while facing a large dark deity murti draped in red fabric and decorated with white and pink flowers. Beside him a man in a light grey shirt holds another tray, and a bare-chested man with a blue cloth wrap stands at the statue's base. Several people stand in the background. The scene suggests an aarti being offered to the deity. The man in orange shows a white forehead mark and has long hair with a swept-back look; the appearance is consistent with the page's reference, so this is a probable candidate.2005-07-24July 24 20052005-07-24July 24 20052005-07-24July 24 20052005-07-24July 24 20052005-07-24A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a young man in a saffron-orange turban and matching saffron shawl with gold border, holding a silver aarti plate with a lit flame toward a shrine behind a white lattice grille. Garlands of white and pink flowers hang around the shrine, and an older bearded man in saffron dhoti with white forehead markings stands beside him with hands joined. Two more bearded men in saffron cloth and rudraksha malas stand in the background. a person (the page's candidate) is the young man performing the aarti, identified only by a turban, saffron shawl with gold border and rudraksha mala; this is an appearance-based label, not a certain identity. The scene reads as aarti or puja at a temple shrine.2003-12-19March 01 20182018-03-01 +1 copiesNight outdoor temple-procession scene with string lights overhead.
