July 24 20052005-07-24Photograph inside a temple shrine with stone pillars and a plastered ceiling. A central figure in orange robes and a gold-coloured chain, with a tilak on his forehead and long hair, stands with one hand across his shoulder, his eyes closed. Beside him a man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style garland and long dark hair stands, and at right a bearded man in orange with a garland looks on. Left, two deity murtis in gold crowns and orange and purple garments, wearing flower garlands. In the foreground a brass plate holds white material and a hand reaches in, and a black stone lingam with a pink cloth stands near the offering. Candidates present with compatible cues, so the central figure is recorded as a person for appearance-based search only.2009-12-16A dim temple interior at night shows a long-haired man in an orange-saffron garment with a white floral garland and a red-and-white flower garland, holding a brass tray with a lit oil lamp and flower petals while facing a large dark deity murti draped in red fabric and decorated with white and pink flowers. Beside him a man in a light grey shirt holds another tray, and a bare-chested man with a blue cloth wrap stands at the statue's base. Several people stand in the background. The scene suggests an aarti being offered to the deity. The man in orange shows a white forehead mark and has long hair with a swept-back look; the appearance is consistent with the page's reference, so this is a probable candidate.2005-07-24A photograph inside a dim, plastered stone chamber with peeling walls and a wooden carved doorframe on the right. A bearded man with long dark hair, wearing a rust-red shawl, a rudraksha mala and bangles, holds a brass tray of lit oil lamps while other men in saffron and orange robes stand beside him, one ringing a handbell and another holding a tray. A hanging oil lamp is visible on the wall, and red and white flowers lie at the lower right. a person: the central man wears a rudraksha mala and a rust-red shawl and holds the lamp tray in an aarti-style offering, consistent with ritual worship. The scene shows a small shrine-like room with lamps and bells.2018-03-01March 01 20182018-03-01Photograph of a ritual scene in a plain white-walled hall with a corrugated roof and red-painted lower wall. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand in a row with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. The man at right, in saffron robes, raises a lit flame on a lamp toward a carved stone shrine at the right edge, decorated with a banana plant and a plate of red offerings. A tray of brass oil lamps and small offerings sits on red cloth at the lower left. Behind them, a small doorway shows a shrine with a decorated murti. Another person in white clothing stands at the back left.2009-10-15August 09 20072007-08-09A dim stone chamber with peeling plaster walls, where several men in saffron-orange robes perform a lamp ritual. A man in the centre wears a long rudraksha mala and holds a brass tray of lit oil lamps and pink flowers, while a bearded companion beside him wears a rudraksha mala and wrist bands. At left, a man holds a small brass bell and another gestures with offerings. A hanging oil lamp is visible on the wall, a garland of red and white flowers hangs at right, and petals lie on the floor. Visual cues for the central figure, long hair and a rudraksha mala, are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the a person field is unsure.2018-03-01August 22 20062006-08-22Photograph taken at night inside a stone temple doorway lined with carved golden-toned frames. A bare-chested priest in cream dhoti with a sacred thread and white arm markings holds a brass plate with a lit flame and offerings, facing the sanctum. Beside him stands a long-haired man in an orange-red robe, hands held together near his chest, and at left a figure in white garments with an orange shawl is partly visible. Behind the priest a deity murti is decorated with garlands and a cloth backdrop, and brass oil lamps stand at right against dark stone walls.2006-09-18A photograph of a temple ritual with four men in the foreground. On the left, a shaved-headed man in orange robes holds a brass plate of offerings, with a second man in orange beside him whose long dark hair, orange shawl and red-and-white flower garland are prominent. A bald man in orange robes on the right holds the same plate of bananas, flowers and fruit. Behind them a man in a white dhoti with bare chest and a rudraksha-style cord.
