June 04 20062006-06-04A photograph of a man with long dark hair tied back, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment, standing with palms pressed together in namaskar before a shrine doorway. The doorway is painted bright orange with a metal grille. Inside the small pink-walled shrine are framed pictures of deities, a golden cloth draped over a window ledge, and a small framed image of a temple on the floor. Another saffron-clad person is partly visible at left.A photograph of a man in an orange sleeveless garment with his hands pressed together in anjali mudra, standing before an orange-painted grilled gate in a small shrine room with lilac walls. Inside the shrine, framed pictures and a folded golden cloth hang on the walls, and a small shelf holds a framed image. A devotee in white stands partly visible behind him. The man has long dark hair tied back, and the orange-clad figure appears to be a sannyasi in devotion at the shrine; identity uncertain from appearance alone.May 25 20062006-05-25Indoor photo in a tiled temple-style hall with a metal railing and chain. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand at the railing with hands pressed in anjali; the man on the right has long, swept-back dark hair and a sleeveless saffron garment, and the man beside him wears an orange shawl with a red border. Behind them, a man in a striped shirt and a few men in white dhotis and shawls stand and watch. A small metal cup sits on the railing and a window with decorative grillwork is behind. Appearance-based cues on the man on the right (long hair, saffron clothing) are suggestive but not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role only.2010-02-17January 08 20102010-01-08December 25 20082008-12-25July 07 20082008-07-07June 20 20122012-06-20March 14 20142014-03-14February 15 20132013-02-15A photograph of a man in profile at a temple-like setting, hands pressed together in namaskar, gazing upward with a smile. He wears a flowing saffron-orange garment over his shoulders, a long gold-beaded necklace with large golden beads, and has long dark hair swept back and a vertical tilak mark on his forehead. Behind him are orange and red draped fabrics, white and red painted walls, a blue-edged pillar and a metal grille, with a garland of white flowers visible at the left edge.2010-02-12
