The figure in orange has long swept-back hair and orange clothing, which are the cues for a possible a person; the identity is uncertain from appearance, so this is recorded as unsure.

A photograph inside a dim temple shrine lit by a string of small warm lights along the wall. On the left, a bare-chested, bearded man with a sacred thread over his shoulder and a white dhoti holds a silver kalasha and a small offering of pink and white flowers. Facing him on the right, a figure in an ochre-orange turban and sleeveless orange robe, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, presses palms together in a greeting. Behind them stand two men in white shirts, and a partly visible man at the right edge. Dark stone walls surround the scene with a black inscribed plaque above and garlands at the upper left.

A long-haired man in an orange-red robe and orange shawl stands at the left, his arms raised to drape or place an orange cloth over the shoulders and head of a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and white shirt, who stands with his back to the camera before a dark stone pedestal with a deity murti behind them. Another man in orange robes holds a golden pot at the left edge, a garland of yellow and red flowers hangs near the deity, and red-and-gold textiles and a stone pillar frame the temple setting. The scene appears to be a ritual blessing or initiation at a temple shrine. The long-haired figure shows distinctive orange robes and long swept hair, a person cue, while the white-clad recipient is a devotee.

A photograph inside a dim temple hall at a shrine. In the centre, a man wearing an orange turban, orange and gold ceremonial robe and a gold ornate necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. He appears to be the central figure, and the appearance cues (orange turban, ornate gold necklace, orange-gold robe) are consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, so this is a probable identification from appearance. Beside him, a man with long dark hair and a beard wears an orange cloth and a red bindi and stands with eyes closed. Behind them, a younger man in an orange cloth and a few men in white shirts and dhotis with white forehead markings stand around. In the foreground, a black stone deity murti or shivalinga is decorated with yellow flowers and pink flowers. Smoke or incense haze fills the air, and a dark carved stone wall rises behind.
