A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a red border garlands a woman in a long orange sari with a red and white flower garland, offering the garland to her. A man in a white shirt stands behind them, and a younger man on the right in a yellow and green shawl and white dhoti, with white forehead marks, watches. Two bare-chested devotees stand at the lower edges. The woman in orange does not clearly match a person candidate; no ornate saffron robe, long swept hair or rudraksha cues are shown, so no in-person a person is identified.2008-07-29July 21 20102010-07-21December 30 20092009-12-30August 06 20092009-08-06Photograph of a devotional handover at an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof. Six men in white dhotis and shirts stand in a row, holding a white cloth with orange-gold borders and flower garlands. One man on the left has white-rimmed glasses and rudraksha-style beads; another centre-right wears a vertical tilak and a loosely hung cord. A man on the right holds his palms together, smiling. On the right, a figure seated on a striped floor mat wears an orange saffron robe, long dark hair and a white flower garland, with raised palms in greeting. Devotees sit in a crowd behind, and a palm tree is visible outside.2007-02-24A photograph inside a temple-style hall with beige marble walls. On the left, a bald elderly man in saffron cloth with a red-and-gold headband and garlands of pink and white flowers sits on a gilded throne. Beside him, a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace holds a gold kalasha-style vessel while a standing man in a white shirt raises a garland over him. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis crowd around, some with folded hands, and a bald man in a white dhoti with a gold border and rudraksha necklace sits in the foreground. A framed portrait hangs on the upper right wall. The scene appears to show a welcome or honouring ceremony with garlanding.2012-04-29July 21 20102010-07-21
