In the foreground, a bearded man with curly hair, white and red tilak on his forehead, and a thick rudraksha mala over a rust-red shawl and bare shoulders reaches into a large ornate brass vessel filled with liquid, possibly for abhishekam. Behind him, a seated man in orange cloth wears layered gold necklaces and a dark beaded mala, holding a silver plate. A stone pillar and granite steps are visible at the right.2016-10-16Close photograph of a seated person in a deep red saffron-toned robe wearing multiple strands of brown rudraksha beads on the chest and wrists. Both wear heavy gold bead necklaces and gold bangles; the orange-clad figure's necklace has a small framed pendant. Powder is sprinkled over the tray and the hands. Faces are not visible, and the scene shows no clear deity, throne or other identifying context.2010-12-19Close photo of a seated person in orange-red robes extending an open palm, fingers and wrist dusted with white powder. In the foreground on the left, a man in a white collared shirt with glasses leans in, his hands cupped beneath a brass tray. A bare-armed attendant in a red-orange dhoti reaches in from the right, scooping white powder heaped on the tray, his arm and fingers dusted white. Beside him, a man in saffron-orange robes with a white vibhuti marking on his forehead and a red kumkum dot looks on. The scene is set against a red and gold cushioned seat at right, with a fair, blurred background. +1 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes pours liquid from a small silver bowl into a large ornately engraved brass or bronze vessel.
